if you have time, call me (real condition — might happen)
si llueve, no salimos
if it rains tomorrow, we won't go out (type 1 with present result)
si + presente → futuro (common pattern)
if you study, you will pass the exam (most common type 1 pattern)
si + presente → imperativo
if you need help, call me (type 1 with imperative — advice/instruction)
NEVER: si + futuro
RULE: Never use FUTURE after SI in type 1 conditions (unlike English 'if you will')
TYPE 2 preview: si + imperfecto subj. + condicional
if I had more money, I would travel more (TYPE 2 — hypothetical, unlikely/impossible)
