Grammar: Separable Verbs (aufstehen, einkaufen)

Separable verbs split in present tense main clauses. The prefix goes to the VERY END of the sentence: • aufstehen -> Ich stehe um 7 Uhr auf. • einkaufen -> Er kauft im Supermarkt ein. • anrufen -> Sie ruft ihre Mutter an.
