Present Tense Conjugation of Regular -AR Verbs

Regular -AR verbs follow a strict, predictable ending pattern in the Present Tense: Remove the -ar ending from the infinitive (e.g. fal-ar) and add: • eu: -o (eu falo) • tu: -as (tu falas - informal PT) • você / ele / ela: -a (você fala) • nós: -amos (nós falamos) • vocês / eles / elas: -am (eles falam) Note: The preposition 'de' is mandatory after 'gostar' ('Eu gosto DE café').
