Ordering Politely

Use 'Vorrei' (I would like) to order politely in Italy, followed by what you want. It is much better than saying 'Voglio' (I want).

Examples

Vorrei un caffè. (I would like a coffee.)

Vorrei il conto. (I would like the bill.)

Un tè, per favore. (A tea, please.)
